How do I check whether a product is compatible with my car?

Check the product’s compatibility information against your car’s exact model, year, engine and gearbox. For tuning software, also follow the manufacturer’s compatibility checks, including any software or unlock requirements. If you’re unsure, send us the product link and your vehicle details at info@vimotu.com before ordering. We’ll help you check.

What is included, and will I need anything else?

What’s included depends on the product or package you choose. A software licence does not automatically include an adapter, cable or installation. For self-flashing, you’ll need the correct app, a compatible device and a supported connection to your vehicle. Some setups also require additional hardware or an ECU unlock. Check the product description before ordering.

Can I install the tuning myself, or is installation included?

It depends on what you buy. bootmod3 supports self-installation using its app and compatible connection equipment, once your vehicle’s compatibility and unlock requirements are met. Our xHP gearbox tuning packages include installation by VIMOTU and require your vehicle to be present. These packages do not include a personal xHP licence for independent self-flashing. Contact us before ordering if you need help choosing.

How will I receive my order?

Digital licences are supplied electronically through email, account allocation or licence activation, depending on the product. Physical products are sent by courier and may come from UK stock or directly from a supplier, including overseas suppliers. Fulfilment and delivery times vary. Check the product’s delivery information and our shipping policy for the applicable timings and charges before ordering.
