Refund policy

1. Purpose and Scope of This Policy

1.1 This policy governs all purchases made from VIMOTU and applies to all customers without exception.

1.2 It covers digital products, software licences, activation keys, and physical goods sold through our website.

1.3 By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by this policy in full.

2. Digital Products, Software Licences & Virtual Goods

2.1 All digital products, software licences, activation keys, and electronically delivered items are strictly non-refundable, non-returnable, and non-cancellable.

2.2 This includes, but is not limited to, bootmod3 licences and any other software-based or virtual products sold by VIMOTU.

2.3 Digital products are considered delivered once processing has begun, regardless of whether the product has been accessed, installed, activated, or used.

 

3. Immediate Processing of Digital Orders

3.1 Orders for digital products are processed automatically and immediately upon checkout completion.

3.2 Processing includes placing irreversible orders with upstream suppliers and initiating licence generation or activation.

3.3 Once processing begins, the transaction cannot be stopped, reversed, cancelled, refunded, or amended under any circumstances.

 

4. No Refunds, No Cancellations for Digital Products

4.1 By completing the purchase of a digital product, you expressly acknowledge and agree that the sale is final.

4.2 No refunds, cancellations, exchanges, or reversals will be issued for digital products.

4.3 This applies in all cases, including but not limited to change of mind, unused products, incorrect purchases, or incompatibility.

 

5. Customer Responsibility and Compatibility

5.1 It is the sole responsibility of the customer to confirm product compatibility prior to purchase.

5.2 VIMOTU accepts no liability for incorrect purchases resulting from misunderstanding, assumption, or failure to verify compatibility.

5.3 Incompatibility does not constitute grounds for a refund, cancellation, return, or dispute.


5.4 If you are in any doubt regarding compatibility, suitability, or application of a product, you must contact us prior to placing an order.

 

6. Waiver of Cooling-Off Rights for Digital Content

6.1 Where permitted by law, including under EU consumer regulations, digital content supplied electronically is exempt from the standard cooling-off period once delivery or processing has begun.


6.2 By purchasing digital products from VIMOTU, you expressly consent to immediate supply and acknowledge that your right to cancel is waived.

 

7. Physical Products – Eligibility, Inspection, and Return Window

7.1 Eligible physical products for retail sale only may be considered for return if a return request is submitted within 7 days of delivery.


7.2 Customers must inspect physical items immediately upon delivery to confirm condition, completeness, and correctness.


7.3 Requests submitted outside the 7-day period will be automatically rejected without exception.

 

8. Condition Requirements for Physical Returns

8.1 All physical items returned must be:

  • Unused and uninstalled
  • In original condition
  • In original packaging
  • Complete with all labels, tags, manuals, documentation, accessories, and inserts exactly as supplied

8.2 Any missing, altered, or damaged components will result in immediate rejection of the return.

 

9. Damages and Issues

9.1 Any damage, defect, or incorrect item must be reported within one (1) working day of delivery.


9.2 Failure to report damage or issues within this timeframe will be deemed acceptance of the item’s condition.


9.3 Claims raised after this period will not be accepted under any circumstances.

 

10. Inspection, Rejection, and Return Handling

10.1 All physical returns are subject to inspection upon receipt.


10.2 Items showing signs of use, installation, wear, damage, tampering, or incomplete contents will be rejected without discretion.

10.3 Rejected items will be returned to the customer.

 

11. Shipping Costs for Rejected Returns

11.1 Where a return is rejected, the customer is responsible for all associated shipping and handling costs.

11.2 VIMOTU accepts no liability for shipping costs incurred as a result of rejected returns.

 

12. Refunds, Store Credit & Vouchers (Physical Products Only)

12.1 Refunds for physical products are not guaranteed.

12.2 Where a return is accepted, VIMOTU reserves the right to issue, at its sole discretion:

  • A refund to the original payment method, or
  • Store credit or a voucher for use on our website

12.3 Store credit and vouchers are non-transferable, not redeemable for cash, and subject to expiry terms.

 

13. Non-Returnable Items

13.1 The following items are non-returnable under any circumstances:

  • Digital products and software licences
  • Activation keys
  • Custom or special-order items
  • Sale or clearance items
  • Gift cards

 

14. Unauthorised Returns

14.1 Returns submitted without prior approval will not be accepted.

14.2 VIMOTU reserves the right to refuse delivery of unauthorised returns.

 

15. Abuse, Fraud, and Chargebacks

15.1 VIMOTU actively monitors for abuse, excessive return activity, refund manipulation, and chargeback behaviour.

15.2 Any attempt to bypass this policy may result in refusal of service, cancellation of future orders, or permanent account restriction.

 

16. Contact and Communication

16.1 All return, damage, or refund enquiries must be initiated by contacting info@vimotu.com.

16.2 Communication outside of this channel will not be considered valid.
