Product Description
xHP gearbox tuning for selected MINI models with supported Aisin six- and eight-speed automatic transmissions. Tailor how your gearbox shifts with xHP's ready-made maps, developed for your particular vehicle. Choose the available setup that suits the way you drive, with software installation carried out by VIMOTU.

Map options and settings
Drive and Sport shift points. Where supported, xHP's Shiftmap Editor allows adjustment of part-throttle shift points in Drive and Sport modes.
Full-throttle upshift RPM. Supported settings allow adjustment of the engine speed at which the gearbox changes up under full throttle. Kickdown can override these settings.
Dashboard gear display. Gear-display options are available on supported vehicles.
Available maps and adjustable settings depend on your MINI's gearbox controller and software. We check the options for your car before you choose; the same stages and features are not available on every MINI.
What changes with an Aisin tune?
The gearbox software controls when and how your automatic transmission changes gear. xHP can change that behaviour through vehicle-specific maps and supported settings. Your chosen map and agreed settings determine the changes included; this is gearbox tuning, not an engine remap.

Check the gearbox, not just the badge: MINI seven-speed DCT, second-generation Aisin eight-speed and manual gearboxes are outside this listing. Aisin eight-speed is a different gearbox family from ZF 8HP.

Please note
- The unlock uses VIMOTU's dealer account. A personal xHP licence for independent self-flashing is not included.
- The package covers the agreed installation. Later map changes or reinstallations are quoted separately.
- Your engine and gearbox should be in good working condition. Tell us about warning lights, shifting faults, existing tuning or a replacement gearbox.
- Software tuning does not repair mechanical faults. Bespoke map development and gearbox servicing are not included.
